The Nominating Committee of the Board of Directors is seeking resumes from members interested in committing their time and energy to Royal Aloha’s continued success and to serving members’ needs.
The five member directors must bring experience and
talent in a variety of disciplines to help supplement the skills of our
paid staff led by President
Members who have the time (about 25 days per year for four quarterly board meetings), and extensive business background are encouraged to apply. We are especially looking for experience in areas such as finance, information management, marketing and sales, real-estate development, and corporate management. Please let us know of other boards on which you have served (businesses, timeshare resorts, community organizations and charities). Applicants must be computer-literate, familiar with the MICROSOFT OFFICE SOFTWARE PRODUCTS, and must have an active e-mail address. We communicate primarily via the Internet.
All resumes are welcome. The Committee nominates at least two and occasionally three people for each open position. If you are nominated, a thorough background and credit check will be made prior to placing your name on the ballot.
Board members are elected to a three-year term and are eligible to run for a second three-year term. After finishing the second term, a member must sit out a year and then may be considered again. This approach has served Royal Aloha extremely well for the last 17 years.
