Branson is frequently called the “nation’s country music capital,” and it’s true that many popular entertainers of the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s perform lively shows of their era. While you’ll always find terrific wholesome entertainment in Branson, you’ll also discover there’s much more to do.
You can easily spend a day at Silver Dollar City with its super thrilling rides, spectacular caves, skilled artisans and native craftsmen selling their wares on the grounds.
Golf has become one of Branson’s fastest growing activities, and both novices and skilled players will
find a challenge. Championship courses offer spectacular views of the surrounding Ozarks.
Outdoor lovers will enjoy boating, scuba diving, parasailing, swimming and water-skiing on Table Rock Lake. If you seek to just peacefully spend a few hours, the lake teems with bass and rainbow trout for fishing at its best.
A leisurely way to see the countryside is aboard the Branson Scenic Railway. Learn the history of the area as the train moves across the foothills. The Railway also offers limited reserved seating for a four-course, candlelight dinner.
